About Dr. Tommy O
Dr. Tommy O has a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, a Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition from the New York Institute of Technology, and completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York. Dr. Tommy O spent the first sixteen years of his career practicing Primary Care in an underserved community located in the South Bronx. He then opened a private practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Dr. Tommy O has devoted his life to not just treating his patients but educating them so they can improve their lifestyle through healthier choices. Through the use of medication, hands-on manipulation, and education, he is able to treat each patient as an individual and tailor a protocol that will best resolve any medical issue. Dr. Tommy O is known for his ability to explain complex medical problems in simple terms so that every patient can understand and help control their well-being.
More than a medical practitioner, Dr. Tommy O is an author with two certified number 1 Amazon Best sellers, as well as a public servant who has devoted much time and effort to enriching communities across New York City. As the former Commander of the 88th Brigade, 102nd Forward Medical Support detachment, New York Guard, Captain O'Brien's primary objective was to encourage personal growth among his troops as well as provided medical care for his troops and their family members within the Greater New York City Area. While on active duty, Captain O'Brien received four Mission Support Awards as well as one Humanitarian Award.
